World premiere of MR.Z. for woodwind quintet & piano in Pacific Palisades, CA
Flutist Susan Greenberg , oboist Jonathan Davis, clarinetist Helen Goode-Castro, hornist Richard Todd, bassoonist Judith Farmer and pianist Delores Stevens will premiere Mr.Z. on Tuesday, April 13, 8 pm at St. Matthews Parrish, 1031 Bienveneda Ave. in Pacific Palisades. The piece was commissioned by Chamber Music Palisades and is dedicated to the memory of jazz great Josef Zawinul. Also on the program will be works by Beethoven, Hindemith and Mozart.
