The New York Piano Quartet will perform the world premiere of From Vienna With Love during a concert of the New York Chamber Music Festival. The performance will take place on Friday, September 16, 8 pm at Symphony Space, 2537 Broadway at 95th Street in New York City. The concert is inspired by and built around Gustav Mahler’s piano quartet. Also on the program will be works by Busoni-Schoenberg, Schnittke, Patricia Leonard, Luhl-Dolgorukiy (American premiere) and world premieres of compositions by Nicolas Prada Diaz, Wang Jie, Barney Johnson, Cristina Spinei and Noel Zahler.
