World premiere of DESERT WIND for chamber orchestra in Los Angeles, CA
The Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra (Jeffrey Kahane, music director) will premiere DESERT WIND on Saturday, May 19, 2007, 8:00 pm at the Alex Theatre, 216 North Brand Boulevard in Glendale, and on Sunday, May 20, 2007, 7:00 pm at Royce Hall on the UCLA Campus in Los Angeles. Desert Wind was commissioned by LACO’s commissioning club Sound Investment.
