The Bruin Horn Club under the direction of Brian O'Connor will perform the world premiere of "To Joe" on Wednesday, May 10, 8 pm at Popper Auditorium, Schoenberg Music Building, UCLA campus in Los Angeles. The Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra (musical director: Steven Kerstein) and flutist Susan Greenberg (member, Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra) will present the world premiere of "CONTINUUM IV - Cascades" on Saturday, October 23, 7:30 pm at the Hall of Liberty, 6300 Forest Lawn Drive in Los Angeles. The piece was commissioned by Ms. Greenberg and features her playing the alto, C- and piccolo flutes in an orchestral setting. David Breidenthal , principal bassoonist of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and the Claremont Young Musicians Orchestra will perform Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Bassoon Concerto in Bb, K.191" on Sunday, January 19, 7:00 pm at Bridges Hall of Music, 4th Street and College Avenue in Claremont, CA.
